Team Building

Many kids have built with LEGO bricks and sets, but not many are used to using these same bricks and pieces to work with others to build a common creation. Our team building workshops teach students how to work as a team to accomplish a common goal.

Teambuilding Workshops are designed for teams of 2-8 students. Participants will work with each other to accomplish a goal using the input and participation from all team members. We also offer an option to teach how to build a collaborative project where each students individual contribution becomes part of a larger end product. Most topics and subjects can be made into a team based event. These can also be great ice breakers for the beginning of the school year.

Workshop info: Community Build

Recommended Grades: All Type: Collaborate

Duration - 70-90 minutes

Content: Each student gets an individual box of Lego to create their own contributions to a larger project. The most popular are the Town build and Space Base Mission. For both examples, we start with blank base plates laid out and students populate and fill with a number of individual creations. When combined together, the many creations become one large display.

Important lessons - when we all help out and do our best, we can accomplish more together than on our own.

Blends well with Social Studies, Science, History
